I have an ancestress named Jane BOOKER, who 1st m. Abel Hankins,Jr., then as her 2nd husband, married a Mr.ASKEW. I have family photos that show folk from all of these last names to be of native “looks” with strong Am.Indian “features” (asian eyes, high cheekbones, dark straight hair,etc.)Does anyone know about the BOOKER clan having any Indian blood w/in it?
Jane was m. in VA or TN,in early 1800s,and died I think in IL,circa 1860s. Hope to hear from anyone with information on this particular BOOKER family.
