ALSACE REGION of WINE Growing–Seeking my ALSACIEN Relations (ULRY)

Trying to PROVE that my ULRY line in the US goes back to the ALSACE Region of FRANCE. The beginnings of the ULRY surname starts out with a German gentleman named JOHANN ULRICH in 1651 crossing the border into France, to the Alsace-Lorraine (Wine-growing) Region, to a tiny town of Juvaincourt, in the Vosges district in Alsace-Lorraine. He then alters his full name, to that of JEAN ULRY. From that point-on, he and his descendants all marry FRENCH women. Then they migrate many other places–as ULRYs are found in the UK, America, and many other Euro countries as well. Our 1st American ULRYs turn-up in early 1700s in PA.
They fight in the American Revolutionary War,as well. Then Peter, and Emanuel (Manuel) ULRY go from PA to IL in early-to-mid 1800s. Does anyone out there know HOW/WHEN the URLYs came from France to PA??? Thank you all for any help- Lorena Muir
