Seek my Cartwright clan of Houston, Texas, but originated in Virginia, early 1800s. Richard Cartwright supposedly born in VA circa 1802, but cannot find any records for such. He married Elsa Lynton, then the migrated to Ohio, by 1828.Both died in Highland county, no exact dates, but their son John R. Cartwright left Ohio for IL in 1847, again no records found. My information comes from notes jotted down in an old family bible. If any persons recognize this line and have additional facts to add to it, I would be very happy to share what I have with you.
